Very Moyes' United with 81 crosses https://twitter.com/ChrisWheatley_/status/1334099774270824451
Looked at the data from last season and yes, the best teams last year had more crosses than other teams, but they also had a LOT more passes of all types. Teams who had the highest percentage of their passes as crosses were the worst teams.
This is especially true for successful passes in the penalty area:
The type of pass you want to work on are through balls - an area he has actually improved this season (so far). Let's hope we don't keep thinking that we should play more crosses!
And this season we aren't so far dipping into big crosses territory with our overall crosses percentages. And our passes into the penalty area aren't too heavily weighted toward crosses.
The takeaway here:

-Crosses aren't great
-bad teams are forced into making crosses
-good teams find ways (control the ball and dominate the opponent) to do a lot of other attacking activity

Hopefully, Arsenal can start to be a good team.
