Why do I believe the new narrative arcs will target subsections of the broader milieu? It’s easier to retain & manipulate existing followers based on narrower themes that attracted them to the subculture. Give them choices of narrative pathways that correspond with desired ends.

The “transcendentalists” attracted to the eschatological & soteriological elements of QAnon are the most valuable subsection imo, but trickier to retain at this crossroad than partisan counterparts who treat politics as secular religion discussed at length in polsci literature.
