Legitimate question that I am genuinely curious about: are there descriptions of the staffing and instructional models being used by public schools that have reopened? e.g., how do we logistically get to ~11 kids + 1 teacher/classroom, while also keeping a virtual only option?
How are NYC schools doing it? What about Europe? Do some kids have no live instruction 2 days/week, to free up those teachers? Is there a separate set of teachers (outside kids' normal schools) that do the virtual option for families that choose that?
As I try to think through the logistics for a small school (2 classrooms/grade) I am genuinely curious about these questions. (Even setting aside the public health questions and focusing on these logistical and staffing ones).
And I haven't seen much on these specifics and details.
Are there groups of principals, superintendents, etc. that have things written up on this?
