Now we're getting an overview of how relevant peatland carbon store is in Ireland - John's work shows upland deep peatlands higher carbon storage capacity, and the importance of peatlands in discussion of carbon storage more generally
Not to hate on the Amazon rainforest and discussion of it - but peatlands are where it's at carbon storage, even if they've been left out in the cold...
