All this vaccine news is great, it really is, but let's try and get it into perspective. It will NOT be the instant cure-all people want it to be. It's the first step on a very long road.
Bear in mind the COLOSSAL amounts of money in this for big pharma, and how eager they are for every shilling they can lay their hands on. Colossal. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY to develop a vaccine for a pandemic in this space of time.
We already know that C-19 has mutated to the level that it's different in Scotland to England, and in different French cities. The idea that there some magic injection for it, in this time-span, is ludicrous. I'm not even an anti-vaxxer. I'm a pro-vaxxer. But I'm not stupid.
