Stop weaponising suicide. Facts about suicide are easy to find. The idea that there is or was an epidemic of suicidal trans teens is not borne out by facts. There is no “one cause” or solution and every individual is different.
It is reckless to claim X or Y will lead to more suicides and downright dangerous to put such ideas into vulnerable peoples heads. The facts however are here.

If puberty without blockers leads to suicide in “trans teens” then it should be obvious in the historic stats. This is not the case. Every case is a tragedy but the facts show that older men are at higher statistical risk.
Among girls, again young people are least at risk, but the trend is *rising* since 2007.
There is *no statistical evidence* for the claim that puberty in “trans teens” leads to suicide, and it is a shameful claim even to utter publicly. Young people are vulnerable to ideas. Before saying anything about suicide - take a step back and look at facts.
Additional: claiming suicide risk isn’t improved in an individual or increases post transition is just as harmful - but to a different group. So don’t do that either. Consider well-being by all means but can we stop with the X or Y does or does not “lead to suicide” 🤗
