A Tactical Cam: Amad Diallo Cameo.
A. His run in transition here was quite clever.

Notice how he runs behind two players focused on the ball and unable to notice him — leaving him marked by only one. Doesn’t get attracted to the ball, common with youth. Nice spatial awareness.
B. His positioning/movement was nice.

Played LW but tucked in the half-spaces well.

When one defender leaves his position to close his teammate down, behind him again — he immediately attacks the space left behind and gets himself into a good position.
C. He uses his physicality very well here. Notice how he uses his elbow to fight off the player and his body to shield the ball.

Very good close control and composure considering he was closed down by two players of bigger physicality — wins the foul.
D. Again: nice run *behind* the players — giving him the time and space.

He dribbles with the ball well. Notice how he stretches his arms out, deceiving the defender to thinking he’d shoot and delaying to allow his teammate to reach. Clever.
E. His run in behind the defender was excellent here. It leaves the defender late, uses his physicality well and forces a 1v1.

His shot is saved due to the defender affecting his balance but his clever run and positioning created a dangerous opportunity.
F. He appeals to the ref for a foul — isn’t given but gets up and moves on quickly as the ball is still in play. Nice.

He initially puts his left foot over the ball, deceiving the defender to turn left: great dribbling— attacks the space: great shot.
G. Again: good position in a triangle of MID players.

He drags the player behind him — creates space centrally, changes direction quickly to receive the ball. Nice spatial awareness and movement created the opportunity.

Delays & attracts 3 players.
H. Maintains width.

Again uses his left foot to move the ball away and trick the defender into the wrong direction. Attacks the space centrally — lays it off but still continues his run: both drags the player and creates a goal scoring opportunity.
