that's a great thing, right? So, logically such a person must be deviant! This is exactly how they're able to scheme & operate sinisterly all while hiding behind a logical and benign title. Gaslighting anyone who criticises them by saying: "How can you be against salafism?...3/7
Salafism is just following the prophet and his companions." But as Suzanne Venkep explains: these groups just "use bengin terminology to appeal to people's emotions and marginalise those who disagree." Thus anyone who dissents against and critiques salafists would appear... 4/7
deviant and look bad...perceived as being opposed and hostile to the ways of the prophet and the great salafs. But if you dare look past their benign titles & closely examine their practices you'll find it is antithetical to their title and what they claim to stand for 5/7
BLM ends up not actually being for black lives and Salafists don't actually follow the prophet's sunnah or Islamic teachings. It's all just semantic games. They're mostly a deluded unIslamic bunch hiding behind "salafism" a perfectly reasonable and noble term to give off... 6/7
a sense of credibility (albeit a false one) and escape valid criticism. In short: daft and extremely uneducated people have hijacked an otherwise admirable benign term/thing (salafism) and weaponised it against us. 7/7
