We all shared our stories on the Signal group and although I have never been a recovering drug addict, it felt like something momentous. Cleansing, almost. Going through my cyber abuse was like cleaning the shit out of a blocked drain. It was vile but felt good to shift.

Anyway, our intention to publicly shame the trolls. If possible, we are going to remove the mask from the anonymous accounts and share their addresses, workplaces etc. online. As one of the trollhunters said "let's fucking translate their cyber abuse into real life abuse."

Another suggestion was to switch off the internet when things get particularly heated. There is a bit of beaureaucratic red tape to get past in that regard but we are confident we can obtain the keys to the internet, so to speak.

It's been a marvellous journey. The trollhunters will bring the fight to the trolls and will win so the internet can be a safe place for blue ticks and large influencer accounts to enjoy once again. We will set out the guidelines for when polite disagreement veers into abuse.
