Shout out to the anti-vaxx folks diving headlong into thalidomide conspiracy theories today. Don't be one of these people, you're better than that.

Its failure was a significant factor in serious overhaul of testing and regulation on new and existing medicines by early 70s.
If you're in the tin foil brigade claiming this will put a microchip in your bloodstream. Why would they do that?

They've already got a healthy amount of your demographic detail from the social media platform you're posting on. Not to mention that handheld computer you're using.
Don't conflate "balanced opinions" for Shitty Bob on Twitter telling me he read an article saying vaccines are bad compared to teams of trained well-educated scientists testing this as best they can.

Cries of "do your own research" will be met with my cry of "go fuck yourself".

I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of whoever went "right, this vaccine is ready for the big time". Utterly terrifying when literally the whole world is watching. Can you imagine the pressure? Holy moly.

Unless you're on the front line or a high-risk group, you shouldn't be demanding anything. Vaccinate our (brilliant) NHS staff so they can gain a semblance of normal back in their work routines, vaccinate patients and high-risk groups.
Here's one thing you can do though.

Don't relax.

Just because it looks like there is a solution, doesn't mean this is the time to stop paying attention.

Wash your damned hands, and wear a damned mask.
