Why on earth confuse things by mandating 'priority areas' rather than map these to the EXISTING TEACHER STANDARDS??
So the only places who can have their PD 'accredited' (rather than 'registered') now are the DOE, Catholic Ed and the AIS NSW. No echo chambers there.... echo-echo-echo-o-o-o.
'Teacher-identified' PD is now 'elective PD' - which is a silly name for it as you cant exactly elect if it's mandated as part of the requirements.
