I’m sorry. I’m ashamed to say I always avoided the so-called trans ‘debate’, cowed into silence by the vociferous cesspit of indy social media. No more: as we’ve seen with Brexit, if decent & progressive people don’t stand up & be counted, bigotry will prevail.

One of the ‘positive’ things that has come out of this is that many people who have stood on the sidelines because of the vileness of the discussion (and I put my hand up here too), have now been empowered to say ‘enough is enough’.
