Oct. 19 - Barr appoints Durham to Special Counsel
The News is reporting that Barr made Durham Special Counsel because he wanted the investigation to keep going regardless of who won election but.....
...the Special Counsel also is appointed because they investigate CURRENT members of the the Legislative, Executive or Judicial Branches of the US Government.
This is because it is a major conflict of interest.

It can't be the Executive or Judicial branch so they uncovered new information regarding current members of CONGRESS.
Barr announced it on Dec. 1st.

This is 43 days after he made Durham Special Counsel and 28 days after the election.

Why wait?
IMO this was a chess move to let the corrupt members of Congress know they have been Durham's target for 43 days.
