There will be pardons. A short thread...
they will fall into roughly three categories, i expect...
1) unravelling the Mueller investigation. the flynn/stone/manafort variety. anything that has the effect of appearing to undo the work of the special counsel investigation...
2) favors to celebrities/supporters ... kardashian variety ...
3) friends and family category....personal lawyer(s), adult children, anyone close who might be in legal jeopardy...
...the pardons will stand.* they’re not going to be overturned by a court, he’s not going to be prosecuted for issuing them, he’s not going to be impeached for them...
(fixing prior) *self pardon would be new, would appear corrupt, but would be litigated.
