The government asked permission to review "certain Attorney-Client communications."

(IOW, a search warrant.)

The memo "identifies both individuals and conduct that have not been charged by the grand jury."

1/
Looks like we have a "secret lobbying scheme" in which --- and --- acted as lobbyists to "senior White House officials. . ."

How many characters fits into the boxes? 🕵️‍♀️

The trade? Political contributions in exchange for a pardon.
🔥

2/
The scheme was a pardon in exchange for "reprieve of sentence for ---"

This part looks like parts of the Mueller Report ⤵️😂

A section discusses why the attorney-client privilege doesn't apply (waived when privileged communications are provided to 3rd parties, etc)

3/
Interestingly, the doc doesn't mention the crime-fraud exception (no privilege when the attorney-client communication is in furtherance of a crime.)

Looks like there were two sets of attorney-clients.

(Where do they find these lawyers?? Aren't there enough lawyer jokes?)

4/
The search warrant wouldn't be 4.5 years old. They've been intercepting material.

Q: Who are the "senior White House staff"?

Trump could say he knows nothing about it (and will fling whoever it is under the bus) but he has opened up the door to this.

Kept reading, and here it is, in the footnote. They didn't have to reach the crime-fraud exception because of the waiver via third parties.

Man, these lawyers 🤦‍♀️

Some lawyers, though (looks like 2) and their communication still privileged.

6/
No, we can't read anything into the timing of this. The initial order is dated Aug. 28, and the government was told to let the court know within 90 days whether any portion could be unsealed, which they did on Nov. 25.

So I was just thinking that the "political contributions" must be for the Trump campaign because Trump won't stick his neck out or do anything for the Republican Party or anyone else.

So it seems to me that the White House insider must be close to the campaign.

8/
It matters. The pardon doesn't expunge the guilt, it simply mitigates the punishment, IF corrupt pardons are allowed to stand (we don't know yet.)

It won't matter to the crazies who are immune to facts, but for anyone who cares about facts, it matters.

It just occurred to me: A search warrant!

Is Trump going to start wailing that someone was "spying" on his White House?

He claims that "Obama spied on his campaign" because the Obama DOJ issued the search warrant."

So who would be guilty of spying on Trump this time🤔
