I know many Twitch streamers want to be on the "Front Page" and as someone who's been on for a few times. Here's my experience [Thread]:
• My FIRST ever front page exp was 2 years ago, The Twitch staff did caution me to get my mods ready for trolls, what I didn't know...

... was that the trolling got really severe. So many of "Why is Twitch putting THIS THING on front page?" And loads of slurs.
• I peaked at 7K viewers. That's because anyone who lands on the homepage will count as 1 view, actual viewer list won't show 7K. Lol

• I was being super optimistic that out of 7K viewers, maybe 1% will be returning viewers? I was being DELUSIONAL, the minute I'm not on the front page I went back to my regular average.
• Fellow streamers who didn't know you're on front page will come in and say a few things

... such as "I'm so proud of you." Even though they haven't spoken to you for a year. Also "How are you at 7K? Botted?" Cuz they're starting to get salty lol.
• If your "front page" slot is hidden at the very last bit of the carousel, don't expect high viewership.

In conclusion, at first it was pretty scary but later I got used to it. Did it do A LOT for me personally? Nah, I had to keep whoring myself on social media for people to know me.
Will I do it again? FUCK YES! Just the thought of making salty people saltier thrills me.
