Imagine my surprise when I realized *today* was the first day of AGU! I've already found some great paleo talks. Consider this a thread on cool talks and posters I found:
First up is @chrishayes228 and @kco_says_so (and >20 more authors) providing an excellent update to the global surface sediment "atlas". So very cool and I thought so even before they acknowledged my ODV color bars (that's nice by the way)... https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm20/meetingapp.cgi/Paper/669131
Very nice poster (with lots of biomarker measurements!) by
@zeyerdem: Upwelling history from northern Peruvian margin over the last 25 thousand years:
A multi-proxy approach

In the poster by @zeyerdem, there is an interesting peak in a lot of things (biomarkers, d18O / SST, d15N, more) at the start of the B/A. Don't think I've seen that before in the eastern tropical Pacific. Anyone else? Also, funny enough, another Life Aquatic ODV palette!
Nice poster from the STAIG lab (& others) here: https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm20/meetingapp.cgi/Paper/735661
Using d11B, they find an "early divorce of the pCO2/ice sheet feedback from insolation forcing". Also, estimate 400 ppm CO2 during the MPT. I have ?s @mudwaterclimate @theFosterlab @IanHall_CU @ChalkyOceans

I’m not posting images from all the talks / posters I like because I’m unsure of the protocol. Also don’t want to email and wait before tweeting. What do you all think?
