Hey guys, I'm so sorry that this is sort of coming out of left field. I just kind of wanted to address this after lurking in several streams for quite awhile, modding & streaming myself.
* Streamers are NOT obligated to answer/respond to every single question/message in chat. +
+ Especially if it's completely off-topic in regards to the stream. Just because they don't read a message aloud, doesn't necessarily mean they haven't read it. Sometimes, some messages make the streamer uncomfortable, but they don't know how to address it -
- Even more so, in front of other people watching them. Other times, they just don't have an answer. Please don't agonise them, they're trying their best. Also I can't speak for anyone besides myself, but please don't have personal conversations in chat, use whispers/DMs instead.
I'm so sorry for the long thread, but this has been on my mind for quite some time. And I wanted to get it off my chest. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
