Every day that goes by I am more worried re #COVID19. Just today: news that all physicians must wear eye protection in addition to masks constantly for every patient. Why? Many health care workers testing positive in outbreaks despite constant masking. #yeg #abpoli #ableg

2)Then heard from a family where one member fell ill but tested negative. He got worse so retested and was positive for #COVID19. False negatives are a major concern.

3)Heard of a family that followed every precaution and yet still all came down with #COVID19. Only way they could have been infected? Asymptomatic contractor doing work in their basement. Not a close contact, but was in the same house.

This is all not to say that precautions don't work - they do help in on overall population sense, but in order to "bend the curve" I think we really do need a real lockdown where people don't share spaces. Masking alone and relying on testing isn't enough. #COVID19AB #abpoli
