Or "Walking in a Winter Wonderland," or "Silver Bells," or "I'll Be Home for Christmas," or "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" or "Baby, It's Cold Outside," or the "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" song...all of which were written by American Jews....
...whose families had fled antisemitism in Europe to come to a country where they hoped they could live as respected members of a multi-ethnic society comprised of people of many different faiths.
