Journos - I know there is a lot of conflicting thoughts in dead naming Elliot Page. My thought: people aren’t stupid. If they are reading Twitter or reading your article or watching your news segment - they can see Elliot’s photos and/or videos. You don’t need to deadname.
The question journos need to ask - does deadnaming do more harm than good. The folks at @TransJA says it does so let’s just fall back and listen to them. Crazy idea: let’s trust the experts. ❤️
