Unsure how helpful distinction between professionals and non-professionals is in community co-creative contexts. Maybe everyone should be considered a participant with different roles but equal rights..?
Would say that participants should have full ownership of their personal stories and the right to pull them, regardless of artistic chaos that might ensue. Can't be worse than someone feeling exploited by project or 'professional'
Definitely important to think about in terms of process and product, and where we consider benefits to be for different people involved
