the whole hashtag started as a joke. the original tweeter got bored and posted it. cis people are laughing at it, too.

the argument that trans people wouldn’t like the situation flipped is the stupidest, and surprisingly most common, thing in response. you know why it’s stupid?

we deal with discrimination on AND off of twitter. i’m sorry, but that’s a lot worse than joke hashtags filled with danganronpa characters

y’all have your pronouns/genders respected most of the time, usually not when you’re a transphobe and showing it, or on /accident/. and usually, you get apologies for the latter.

transphobes will purposefully go out of their way to attack and target the trans community.

yes. genuinely hating cis people for them being cis is sucky. we have allies who are cis. most, if not, all of our ancestors were cis, or at least claimed to be.

that’s why this is a joke.

please. if you’re informed, stop getting so upset.

for many people, this is a response to trauma/oppression or coping method. joking. because we can’t get the therapy we actually need.

instead of wasting your energy trying to yell over a huge joke, raise awareness and HELP the community so there’s no need for it.
