We give @tribpub papers syndicated news stories via Tribune News Service, slideshows & stories from TCA Premium Content, The Daily Meal & The Active Times; our graphics editors work w/ designers; our editors code stories. In a way, we are the connective tissue of the company.
This summer, @tribpub demanded we split into two units, despite routine collaboration and widespread support to keep our group together, then refused to allow us to bargain together with our natural partners at other Tribune publications already doing exactly that.
. @tribpub, keeping our newsrooms isolated from one another wastes valuable time and resources by forcing individual, drawn-out, identical bargaining processes.
We’re asking @tribpub to allow us to do our part in helping build a better future for the company, and the employees who help inform the many communities we serve. Voluntary inclusion in joint bargaining allows us all to take a meaningful step forward together. #bebettertribune
