We are years and years past the stating the problems with soccer being good enough.

Everyone knows Pay to Play, lack of access, undeserved communities, etc etc etc are all problems.

Stating that "things work for the #USWNT" isn't a reason to not fix things.
The National Team level of competition is a super very select minority of players...

99.999% of players will never sniff it.

90 whatever% of pro players never sniff it.

Using its success as a crutch to defend zero change... or even small change... is not acceptable.
Only focusing on the top end of the player pool is... selfish? Disrespectful? I don't know really how to describe it other than for sure ... unfortunate.

Forgetting that the vast majority of players need a different system to have the best experience possible with the game...
Or deciding that we don't care that they need it?

Systemic change is the ONLY way to fix these massive issues.

Culture change isnt going to happen by continuing to do what we do now with a 1% change in course.
Hopefully eventually leadership within US Soccer and all of its members will decide that we want to do right by the millions of players, coaches, and referees out there...

Instead of doing right by a few dozen owners of a marketing company...
