I know how hard it's to be in the thick of applying for jobs. (It took me 8 months to get this job).

Before you start throwing your resumes at ANY type of job, look at your resume. What story are you telling in it? Do you get bored reading your own resume? If so, start there.
If you're looking at your resume and you are like "Wow, I sound amazing", then concentrate on networking.

I mean real networking - not messaging people asking about roles. You need someone who will champion you through the hiring process. You need to have a real connection.
How do you build that real connection? Start talking to people that you've shared interests with. Become friends. Try to get to know them as a person.

Play the long game now b/c you will waste your time asking busy people who've no connection to you for a referral.
