I lived in Buffalo long enough to understand the resentment people have for “the city,” but also NYC subsidizes not just Buffalo but a lot of the country 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t mind being a donor state but frankly I could do with a lot fewer “this is why everyone hates New Yorkers” tweets from people who refuse to pay their fair share of taxes 🤷🏻‍♀️
