it’s #WorldAIDSDay
HIV was v poorly understood when it first emerged & it’s taken decades for life-saving treatment to become available - 12 million people globally still don’t have access to it. The lives lost and communities devastated by this disease can’t be overstated.

Ending the stigma surrounding HIV and co-ordinating a global response that provides HIV prevention and treatment in all the places it’s needed is a huge challenge...thankfully there are amazing people working to make that happen...
like the wonderful @nathanieljhall who has a great show about his own experience, orgs like @THTorguk @UNAIDS @lgbtfriend @TeamPrepster @GMFA_UK to list a few ! tell a friend #UequalsU - a person living with HIV on effective treatment CANT PASS ON the virus, U=U !
