On December 1, 2010 I flew into Washington DC with 1 suitcase. I moved into a studio apartment and rented minimal furniture from CORT furniture. I didn’t even have a car. I was 46 and decided DC was where I put it all on the line. Thank God it worked out for me.
I’m a risk taker. It’s in my blood. I lose more than I win but each win is far greater than the sum of my losses. When I score I fucking score! Imagine being 46 and making an all or nothing move. You think that’s easy? I did it without second thought.
We want so much in life but what are you willing to do to get it? I’m not talking about compromising yourself. I’m talking about sacrifice! If you’re afraid to take chances that’s okay. All men are not created equal. Learn who YOU are. Accept your role. Play YOUR position.
