At the age of 31, Charlie Munger was divorced, broke, and burying his 9 year old son, who had died from cancer.

In his 50s, after a failed eye cataract surgery that rendered his left eye blind, Munger had his left eye removed due to severe pain.

He eventually achieved his dream of having a lot of money, a house full of books, and a huge loving family.

But that doesn’t mean he didn’t face unbelievable challenges and tragedies.

He learned how to overcome obstacles and become a survivor, not a victim.

You need to roll with the punches, maintain an upbeat attitude, and to keep plugging away.

You also need to be a learning machine, and adapt to the opportunities available.
