GEOMORPHOLOGICAL RESEARCH

It is believed that in ancient times, Kashmir valley was a huge lake - Sati sir i.e. Parvati's head.
Which research proves that in place of Kashmir, there is a really big LAKE.

Puranic View-

Kashmir valley was a huge lake - Sati sir There were some cattle species on the hill sides of the lake surrounded by people, who lived by raising sheep, goat, cow buffalo etc. Probably, agriculture was also done (2/n)
But life became painful due to demon living in the lake["Jalodbhav"]. This monster often attacked their settlements and carried their animals. Sometimes humans were also killed. Fed up with this type of torture, they went to sage Kashyap residing somewhere in Madhya Pradesh
Kashyapa along with his disciples planned to get rid of the demon. The demon was killed and Baramulla, known as Varahamool, dug into the mountain rampart and made a way to drain water. The water drained out and a very large valley appeared .
Kashyap established a city here. Since then it came to be known as Kashyapamar, the camp of Kashyapa, which transferred into Kashmir

Now look Archeological proof -
The archaeological survey that took place in the Kashmir Valley happened before independence. According to him, such smooth soil has been found at many places in the valley as it does underwater.
This is not the result of any flood because in this soil, the remains of those animals are also found in abundance.Such shells and shells of shells prove that this land was once under water. The second question is whether the water was so deep that the entire valley came under it?
The said remains were also found on the mountain slopes above the southernmost end of the valley i.e.Qazi GundThat is, if Srinagar is considered the base, then the water was up to a thousand feet height. This means that Shankaracharya's hill was almost completely submerged in it
Now By GEOMORPHOLOGICAL Research by IGI , PrayagraJ --

Cold conditions were set in Kashmir Himalaya
and its adjoining valleys as early as 2.5million years ago. The glaciations period was
followed by time de-glaciation that resulted in formation of huge LAKE
