Facebook is "real and present danger" to democracy (Guardian editorial, July 2020), a "danger to democracy" (2018).
It's "destructive ethos imperils democracy" (Observer editorial 2018).
What are readers to make of Guardian's decision to join new initiative and take FB's money? https://twitter.com/rasmus_kleis/status/1333672469006327810

To be clear, I don't personally mind. Can see case for taking £££, and think Guardian will put it to good use. Further, other relations (distribution) arguably more important than this.
But curious how it will come across to readers in cases where a title has vocal stance on FB.
