Here's something interesting:

According to EPD's statement released earlier today, Central Lane 911 received the call about the domestic dispute and restraining order violation at 10:24am, then dispatched officers.

But their own dispatch log seems to contradict this claim
Here is a screenshot of EPD dispatches between 9:47am and 2:42pm on 11/30. There are a few dispute calls, but none of the times on this dispatch log line up, and the only one that *might* fit the EPD's story occurred at 11:22am on Coburg Rd, far north of the shooting.
So, I'm requesting a transcript of the supposed 911 call to see whether it actually exists and what was actually said to dispatchers that eventually led to today's shooting.

Because things don't seem to be quite adding up here.
Here's where you can search through the EPD's dispatch log:

And here's where you file public records request with Lane County to get, say, phone call transcripts of specific calls for service or dispatches.

Based on this screenshot, the "weapon offense" and "disorderly subject" weren't logged until 3:09 and 3:55pm! Almost four hours after the fact! I didn't even notice this! https://twitter.com/brookenlarson/status/1333683736429223936?s=20
And here's an EMS log (that I didn't know existed until just now) that records the emergency medical aid delivered to the shooting victim. Emergency medics apparently weren't dispatched until 12:02–roughly an hour after the shooting supposedly occurred. https://twitter.com/steve_piercy/status/1333682969433624577?s=20
Okay looks like this is gonna go down the hard way.
Launching a GoFundMe to obtain digital records from the Sheriff's Office because they obviously do this shit on purpose.
I AM HAVING A VERY NORMAL TUESDAY MORNING.

(This is a good reminder that the police can and will use your Twitter feed for their own purposes!)
Well well well, it would appear that Lane County doesn't have any records of that supposed 911 call, and I'm being directed to contact the EPD public records office instead.

I received this just minutes after the email from the OSP detective.
So now I'm filing a request with EPD for a transcript of a 911 call that I'm becoming less and less certain actually exists.

BUT!

The EPD does not allow the emailing of record requests, and requires people seeking information to mail or hand-deliver their queries!
And, of course, once I do get this request delivered, it will likely not be fulfilled because I have no concrete information regarding the case, such as case numbers, specific locations, or even the name of the shooting victim–because EPD has not released any of this info.
