Oops. They said the quiet part out-loud.
Transphobia has ALWAYS been about antisemitism. They're rooted in the same recruitment narratives.

Hey, I'm gonna be nitpicky down here and remind y'all that not everyone who is anti-trans is a TERF.

For example, the author of this book is not a TERF. And the author of this article about this book is not a TERF, he's a white nationalist.
Heck, JKR isn't even a TERF. There's nothing radical about her feminism.

She just hates trans people, wishes they didn't exist, and thinks that trans peoples' existence is fundamentally antithetical to cisgender women's existence.
I study and write about anti-trans feminist rhetoric and advocacy, of which TERFs are a driving subset, but the world of anti-trans rhetoric is broader and more mundane than TERF-dom.

And it's important to be able to say "the far-right connects anti-semitism with transphobia."
