Baker rarely looks confused presnap & rarely burns a TO. His ability 2 draw Defenders offsides & play action are REALLY good. better then most. He can throw dimes with great velocity in tight windows. Makes throws that many can’t. Throws well on the move. Tough, not injury prone.
Not as accurate, comfortable in pocket or with touch throws. Hasn’t made enough plays in key situations particularly against better competition. Needs 2 recognize the mismatch or open wr with greater regularity.
1 can argue he has new system/coach. can also argue talented players around him & soft schedule. Both r true & relevant. He is not a finished product & should get better with continuity. Competition will also b better & with more regularity & playoffs will only add to that.
baker does a lot of little things & makes throws that make him a quality qb. needs more time & against better competition 2 have better idea of ceiling. He doesn’t have 2 look like great against D like steelers, few do. Can he make key plays & elevate his team that’s an unknown
