Don’t spend too much on Cyber Monday. Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday and I am seeing some really great appeals @SmithGlobalBiz.
Today is #GivingTuesday2020!!! Giving Tuesday was created to highlight and celebrate generosity. This morning I participated in a discussion about Black giving and was able to listen to the work being led by Black organizations around the world.
These organizations are doing the work and are often not as visible as their counterparts so I want to highlight some of them: First up Divine Potential Services: you can find them at http://www.divinepotentialservices.org
Another organization doing really interesting work with artists was Road To Artdom: http://www.roadtoartdom.org or @RoadToArtdom
Impact DMV provides young people with resources and mentoring from 14-30 you can donate to them at http://www.impactdmv.org
Class Act Detroit is in control using Hip hop to reach the youth in the Detroit to support check out http://www.classactdetroit.org
If sports is your thing then I got an org for you United African Basketball League: donate at http://www.uablpro.org
You in Lousiana- I got two for you! Check out http://www.cwoutreachcenter.com in Homer and Thrive Academy in Baton Rouge
Do you want to be on top- okay that’s different but I am sure Tyra Banks would be interested in The Model Behavior organization. Donate to them at http://www.themodelbehavior.com
Last be definitely not least a Black Law firm with a passion for helping our community started http://www.legendarylegalservice.org to support those struggling and in need to legal representation.
