Anarchism is misunderstood, but that’s done purposely. No one can find anywhere where etymologically it means “chaos.” It became misinterpreted purposely. That didn’t just recently begin, that was done for quite some time. The idea that anarchists are bomb throwers and violent...
Came from the Haymarket Affair. The guy in the cape with a stick of dynamite was the image portrayed, to give ppl the perception this is what anarchists are. The truth is, the so-called perpetrators of the bombing at Haymarket Sq were found to be innocent...
And much like cops do today, lied about who actually threw the bomb. The Haymarket defendants were found innocent but only after they either committed suicide or were hung.

There was a famous speech given at that trial, articulated they only anarchists can by August Spies, one of the accused.

But since that time, there was a concerted effort by the state to label anarchists violent, destructive, and “chaotic.” The original term actually means “without rulers or masters.”
It was the political agenda of the state, to purposely mischaracterize anarchism as “chaos.” The reaffirming its position that they are needed, where we say, no...actually no one needs you. We can do for ourselves. If you actually think about it...
The state is chaos. The bureaucratic red tape, the DMV, the economy, laws, laws, and more laws. More wars. The actually creates reasons for its existence, and unless you look carefully and do a very deep examination, you’ll see that they actually are one of...
The only entities (aside from corporations and CEOs, mega banks) that do not need to exist. The workers can own and operate the workplace, the workers can build better products w/o planned obsolescence. Products can last longer...
Therefore better for humanity, better for the earth, and no continual replacements and filling landfills with lithium and other harmful materials. Upgrades can be done w/o buying new stuff. And can be made for everyone, w/o robbing ppl for thousands on smartphones...
Or computers. Plus, by owning the means of production, it means the end of ridiculous CEO pay, and the money goes to the workers. Their standard of living increases, their lives become better because of it, and you begin to have a happier society.
To add to this, food, shelter, healthcare, education, water, become free. So with the extra money from not paying for what you’re paying for now, can be used on other things. Eventually money gets phased out. But, that comes later.
The advantages to this are numerous because if you have a healthy and happier society, you have less violence. If you provide what ppl need, you reduce crime, it eliminates need for police. We can police ourselves! But, this is the problem. The state needs these...
Things to continue, and actually create policy that generates poverty, that creates a conscious divide to seek out groups to blame and lock them away for crimes the state is guilty of creating in the first place. Anarchism is old if not older than a lot of civilizations.
As is communism, the reason you don’t understand things like this is based on your indoctrination to that particular phrase, or word. If you look at the word itself, what it is, instead of what you have been taught it means, it helps.
The oldest civilization are aboriginal, their civilization goes back 50,000 years. Non-hierarchal, non-competitive, egalitarian, cooperative societies that lived peacefully. That is what Anarchism is. It’s not bomb throwing, it’s not violence. The only thing ppl...
Relate to when they think about us, when the reality is that is a byproduct of a system that disrespects human autonomy, freedom, and rights. That disrespects nature, and the earth. If we fight, it’s in defense of the rest of our fellow poor who are oppressed...
Economically, by race, ethnicity, culture, religious beliefs, etc.

And imposes hierarchy over equality, and elitism over humanity and decency, and equality.
