Let’s talk about this article. TPUSA has acted as the unofficial youth arm of the Trump Campaign since 2016, and now with a freshly cracked egg on their face, they want to blame everyone but themselves. Let’s keep them honest, shall we?

The blame game is so funny here because it’s everyone’s fault, and they’re all using the very Trumpian tactic of blaming others

But here’s THE BEST part of the entire article. Kirk allies blaming the Campaign and the RNC, saying that TPUSA’s organizing is BETTER. What a joke
The Trump Campaign and the RNC worked their tails off. It was a valiant effort. As we’ll see later, Charlie Kirk's efforts never left the college campuses where they had pre-established TPUSA and Students for Trump groups.
Here’s the crux of TPUSA’s problem:

-They’re a Trump organization, not a Conservative organization
-They never left college campuses to do any outreach in the midst of a pandemic which saw a decreased number of students on campus.

‘Better at organizing’ my ass
TPUSA’s brand of organizing is putting an empty-headed "influencer" in front of a camera to spout off that week’s talking points. How does this equip TPUSA members for a career in anything except punditry? There’s no training, and there’s no development of Conservative ideals
The GOP has a poor record of connecting with young folks which is why TPUSA was welcomed with boomer arms wide open. And therein lies the problem: TPUSA doesn’t cater to young people. Their outreach is kind of terrible. And ALL of their digital ads target boomers. Why?

Money.
During a call I had with Turning Point’s COO in 2018 about the string of sexual assaults during their events he bragged that TPUSA had poached some of YAF’s donors. As if donor dollars vindicated their actions. This, to me, further cemented the entire organization as a grift.
TPUSA has done almost irreparable harm to what’s left of the youth conservative movement, and to the GOP’s odds of regaining a foothold in the Gen Z demographic.
If Turning Point truly cares about the conservative movement, they’ll bow out of the game when Trump leaves office. Otherwise, they will be proving they’re in it for the money and personal fame. A grift.
