अर्थात ये बिचौलिए घटिया किस्म का भी धान बेचे तो इसकी खरीद भी MSP पर ही कि जाये

Let's understand with real experience and figures

MSP is set not just by Central Govt but state too

So for X crop is central MSP is 1300, State add more to it say 2100 i.e 800 more for pure political gain

Before #FarmBill2020 if Rice grown in UP & MSP is 1300, farmer had to sell it in UP only

means if MSP in Haryana is 2100, UP farmer had to sell @ 1300 in UP & not permitted to sell at 2100 in Haryana

Who was at Loss? FARMER
Who was at gain? Middlemen

Who buy from these middlemen? Big companies and open market

The new #FarmBills removed these crooks and now farmers can sell anywhere in India directly to Companies or consumers

Now let's take a REAL example

Bajra in Siker Rajasthan cold at 1300
The MSP in Haryana/Punjab is 2100

So partially exploiting #FarmBills2020 provisions of buying & selling anywhere

So a Big Landowner or middleman buy from Siker 5 trucks of Bajra at 1300/quantal and sell it to Haryana Govt at Haryana MSP at 2100

A pure gain of 800 for him and loss of 800 to govt

CM Haryana in a tweet said that he will not allow this practice

Punjab produce is worse in country which i explained in my 2 tweet threads. It is full of toxins. Even they themselves don't eat it

Since the #FarmBills is in place, the business says why should i buy poor produce from u at 2100 when i have much better from UP at 1300

So this #FarmBills will standardize the cost of procuse in entire country

means ppl can buy the best at best cost

This means Punjab & Haryana Farmers have to improve quality which mean more hardwork & cost

To get better produce in Punjab & Haryana will take 10 years as the ground below the soil is contaminated with excess use of pesticide

This is why the #FarmerProtest is asking one condition in #FarmBills2020 that rate below MSP is a criminal offense and not allowed. It serves two purpose

Assured MSP even if crop is BAD & govt forced to buy
Political parties can declare any MSP to gain VOTE

With this condition. Say Congress election promise is 2500 for Bajara

That means the middleman buy at 1300 from Rajasthan and sells to the Punjab govt at 2500. a pure profit of 1200

This has been the Modus operandi of Pawar's & Badal for many years

When MSP across India become same political milage for parties is lost

Post 2024, GOI will abolish PDS and the DBT will be used. Means GOI will pay ppl via DBT and u have freedom to buy what u like. U will not be forced to buy sub-standard food
