In these days, a new topic has emerged since a sikh man in farmers protest said that he will kill PM Modi. After that a lot of people have started making racist comments on sikhs and there are few who have started calling them #khalistani.Lets dive deep into this topic.
Although there is not much truth to this fact that most sikhs are #khalistani. It is rather opposite that most of them have been victims of #khalistan movement. I happened to find a CIA report online which discussed this problem. According to the report, most of
The Sikh people living in different regions of India did not support the #Khalistan movement. The sikh community comprised of people from various backgrounds.
Most of the Sikh people don't support the #Khalistan movement. The number of #Khalistanis in India is not much and the whole drama and loud noises are not from India but from Abroad.
The #Khalistanis living abroad are more active on twitter and social media, hence one might look at them and get the false understanding that there are a lot of #khalistani people. These people who are either politically motivated or paid to spread venom against India.
In recent times, they have also breached into indian sikh crowd and started to radicalize them online. You can simply see their hatred and venom in Quora, Reddit, Twitter. Most of their propaganda is based on stright up lies and twisted facts.
If you visit the r/Sikh sub in reddit, you will see that it has nothing to do with Sikhs. It is a forum of canadians, Americans and British people who are mostly discussing #khalistani issues. They are not at all Sikh and i can prove it.
Sikh is a Dharma not Religion. These people are westernised so much that they have become like a christianized version of Sikh. How their propaganda proceeds? Let's see. First they use exclusion in portrayal of sikh community. These people are highly self obsessed.
Anything Indian, they try to show the sikh people are different from all other indian communities. Since this is not true, there are many occasions when their narrative fails. Such as the Dasam Granth, Points where sikhs and hindus have a shared history and culture.
At these points these people completely disregard all those facts and even try to hide it. For eg. They even tried to claim that Dasam Granth is not written by Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Maharaj. Why?? Bc it has sections dedicated to
Ram Avtar, Krishna Avtar, Bhagwati maa which are as hindu as it can get. When this step is complete and the sikh reading this online starts to believe that he is completely different from his Hindu,Jain,Buddha brethren, then comes the second step of radicalization.
Now the topic of 1984 is brought into focus. False things like RSS was involved are peddled to first create a hatred for Hindu organisations. The hatred for common hindu comes later. Then 1984 is projected like a Sikh vs Hindu War.
Yes it was a Hindu vs Sikh war but just for the #Khalistanis not for Hindus. Notice the heading of the graph, "Sikh extremist killings of Sikh and Hindus". All those Sikhs who did not agree to the fundamentalist view of Bhindranwale were rejected as Sikhs.
And they were also hunted. 1980-84, 750 people were killed by the extremists. 63 in 1985 and 520 in 1986. ALSO Read the note below the graph. The report even mentions that sikh extremists found it good for themselves when sikhs faced any violence in any part of country.
This was better for their long term goal. Their goal was to somehow convince all the sikhs around India to come to punjab and drive out all the hindus out of Punjab but Sikh people living out of punjab didn't pay much heed to the #Khalistanis and neither did the Hindus leave.
coming back to step two. The 1984 is somehow portrayed from being a Congress vs Sikhs issue to Hindu vs Sikhs issue. The last step i.e hatred for hindus is accomlished by cherry picking reference from history and showing how hindus have always betrayed sikhs.
After all this when the Sikh person is completely brainwashed, that is their victory. Truth is even sikhs don't know who they are, hindus dont know who they are And what connects them togather.
Due to this knowledge gap, a lot of people exploit the situation and create hatred between them. I am confident that a learned hindu and a learned sikh will have atleast 70% of their beliefs and cultural practices exactly the same.
Majority of indian sikhs have outright rejected this facade of #Khalistan. They are well educated people. Sometimes it is shown that political parties like BJP which are hindu are stopping development activites in punjab.
This might give a view that hindu vs Sikh is in place but its simple politics. I am not saying its right but it has nothing to do with the Sikh identity. When BJP lost election in bihar they didn't implemented the smart city as planned. Does this mean BJP is anti Bihar?
This is the classic example of step 2. Now we even have a document for it. The official doctrine of pakistan military to exploit faultlines in India is open for all to read on the internet. The so called Canadian Sikhs who pretended to care for Sikhs protested agains CAA.
When i found out about sikh families in Afghanistan celebrating CAA, i tought to share the news in r/Sikh subreddit. Guess what, i was BANNED. Now coming to BJP, the kartarpur corridor was opened during BJP. 100s of Sikhs from Afghanistan were flown to india by Indian Govt.
CAA introduced by BJP. It was modi who reminded people of ramayan written by Guru Gobind Singh ji.Even Sikhs didnt knew that. It's been 6 years guys that our colonial sleep is ending. Lets give it more time and we will realize that we are all part of Dharmic civilization.
Lets not give the narrative in the hand of fringe which says that Sikhs are #Khalistanis and Hindus are your enemies.
