WHAT IS FEMINISM (A SHORT THREAD)

Feminism is treating men and women equally.

Feminism is inspiring women to be independent.

Feminism is making women trust their talent and realize that they are worth it.

Feminism is respecting women’s opinions no matter how political or apolitical they are.

Feminism is letting women share men’s responsibilities.

Feminism is eliminating the myth that only men have to handle burden of money making.

Feminism is NOT demeaning or belittling anyone.

Feminism is respecting oneself…and others.

Feminism is often misunderstood with women trying to reach above men but it’s really about their fight to be equal to men. It’s about getting the same amount of appreciation. It’s about having access to certain rights without fighting for them.

It’s about voices being heard. It’s about pain being acknowledged. It’s about winning this battle that we have been fighting since the day they were born.

And maybe someday, rape will be stopped, a female’s opinion will be as important as a man’s, a girl can wear whatever she wants to, female workers will be paid the same amount as men, girls won’t have to wear lipstick to impress a man, women will be appreciated for

their effort and handwork and little girls won’t be taught to be just good wives and be demure and submissive.

FEMINISM IS EQUALITY. NO GENDER IS SUPERIOR TO ONE ANOTHER.
