because i’m tired of nonbisexuals acting up, here’s a thread of some things you might not think are biphobic but definitely are. #bisexual
asking bisexual people how many same-sex partners they’ve had
saying bisexual women are “available to men”
refusing to date a bisexual person because they couldn’t possibly be satisfied by just one relationship
saying that bisexual girls, especially bisexual teenage girls, often identify as bisexual as a “stepping stone” towards lesbianism
on the flip side, saying young bisexual women cling to the label to get male attention
only ever talking about bisexuals in the context of slur discourse
refusing to call a bisexual character bisexual, saying they “don’t like labels” or “like hearts, not parts”
headcanoning canonically bisexual characters as lesbians or gay men (or straight people!)
calling bisexuality an attraction to men and women only. bisexuality is not binary!
saying that bisexuals are “trying to be oppressed”
calling bisexual women fetishizers for enjoying wlw content
the term “at least bisexual”, like, in general.
end thread. bisexuals feel free to add more :)
