Hey everyone! Especially DV survivors and victims please do not let the human dumpsters of Twitter convince you that you have no right to be upset about Terence remaining on the team. You do- and a lot of us are on your side. Making an alleged abuser *comfortable* is not priority
They think that their fear that either they or a man they know will be exposed means that you are irrational for caring who we pay as customers of the entertainment industry. The justice system has let down so many victims in the past and we cannot just wait for a verdict
Usually these trials etc. Turn into shaming and humiliating the victim regardless of how the case ends up. People who argue that we have to wait on the law to pass judgement are naive and are only protecting themselves and the toxic people they know.
Some people do lie about DV but it is such a microscopic amount of cases, especially considering the unreported cases. And it’s truly insane to deny a case like this considering the severity and the type and amount of charges that were laid.
Please don’t let these idiots get to you. They are only getting defensive because they’re afraid.
