Exactly 1 year ago, I started a little personal experiment. Every last Saturday/Sunday of the month, I’d sit and write every single problem I was having at that current time. The aim of this wasn’t to record-keep or problem solve. The aim of this was
To see how many of those problems dissipated on their own, how many of them were worries (tantamount to nothing - not a real problem) and how many would last. I did this test to prove to myself how banal majority of my problems were/are.
I swear to God, every single month, the look-back shocked me. Either those problems were resolved (relatively easily) or they were plain worries that dissipated all on their own. Over the 12 month period, I wrote down 126 different problems. Today, a mere 12 months later
None of those problems holds any weight. Not a single one. A mere 1 year later. Now, imagine you who’s worried sick about 1 or 2 things but gets to live 70/80/90 years??? How many of those problems will carry weight then? Stop worrying so much. It was, is, and will be fine!
