All the plaudits have gone towards @TheRealPitso after last night's #CAFCL victory, becoming only the third coach to win it with two different teams..

But it would never have happened without this colossal woman, Moira Mosimane.

Time for a 🧵 on Queen Moira
Moira was born and raised in Mafikeng and attended Motswedi High School in Zeerust, a town just outside Mafikeng.

She matriculated in 1989 and went on to study at the Cape Peninsula University of, obtaining a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying in 1993.
She enrolled at @UCT_news in 1994 and studied there until 1999 where she obtained her BSC Honours in Quantity Surveying.

She remained in Cape Town and in January 2003 she was appointed Assistant Development Manager at Transets property division, Propnet.
She left that position just eight months later in August to become the senior Project Manager for the expansion of the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town between August 2003 and February 2005.
During that time, in 2004, she made a decision that would changer life forever. A single mother at the time, she decided to start a business, TMTJ Consulting, putting up her house as security and left full time at the end of the V&A project to persue the venture.

Bold move 😮
At one point, the business came close to folding due to cash flow problems but her grandfather took out his pensions fund savings to help and that was the boost they needed to kick on. Since then, TMTJ has been involved in some gigantic projects.
They were Quantity surveyors in the construction of the Cape Town International Departures Terminal.

Moira has also recently been Oversight Projects Manager for the performance of Flagship Projects for the Office of the Gauteng Premier.
Perhaps her biggest and most notable project was Moira's appointment as the Leader of the 2010 FIFA Local Organising Committee with the role of Oversight Project Manager.

Aged 34 at the time, she had to manage ALL of the 2010 build projects. She literally helped build history
The stress of managing such a gigantic project nearly took her life in 2005 when she suffered a serious pulmonary embolism.

She recovered from that and in 2006, she set up an office for TMTJ Consulting Gauteng, specializing in housing, stadiums, offices and shopping centre's.
She did all of this while building a family and managing Pitso's career in which she helped him become the highest paid and most decorated South African coach ever, dominating the @OfficialPSL with @Masandawana and now conquering the continent with @AlAhly.
Moira has been a collossus everywhere she has worked and it's no wonder everything Pitso touches turns to gold.

Congratulations on your success, Mrs Mosimane. The nation owes you a huge debt of gratitude for what you have done on and off the field..👏🏾🙌🏾
