Alright, I don't like to talk too much about this...

But... I'm helping one of my ba$ed brothers achieve some clarity with the product he's building.

So the homies incentivized me to share some of the sauce with y'all.

How to build a good product and a good offer:

[Thread]
First of all

Y'all approach this shit backward to be honest.

You always try to think "What's the most amount of shit I can put into a product to make it really good so people like it"

Garbage mindset

Also you'll procrastinate because there's absolutely no clarity.
The first question you need to ask:

What have you done that other people have not?

Nothing?

You're not in a place to build a product then.

Go get some skin in the game first.
But let's say that's not the case right...

An example

You used to binge eat a lot.

You went through a personal challenge to stop.

You documented everything in the process.

Awesome, you got everything you need to build a great product that solves a huge problem.
Ok, before you start building your product.

I want you to internalize this in your head

This new (never seen before) product will help [specific group of people that struggle with this huge problem] get [quantifiable end result]

If it doesn't happen, they get their money back.
Again, I see y'all do this shit all the time.

Y'all want to create this super complex system that does a million things for everybody.

WRONG APPROACH.

The formula is simple...
The target market is in a current state

In their current state, they have a big problem.

They want to reach a desired state where this problem no longer exists.

There's a gap between the states.

Your product fills that gap.

That's it.

That's all there is to it.
One idea, one offer, one product.

The Minimum Viable Offer model (shoutout Sam Ovens).

Your product does one specific thing for one specific group of people and delivers one specific result.

If you want to build upon it overtime and add more sauce to it?

Great...
But initially, this is your objective.

Now when it comes to actually building the product...

The process should be as simple as humanly possible.

You want to get people from A to B.

Not A to Z.

Why?
People far more easily believe they can go from A to B than from A to Z.

A beginner more easily believes in your "get your first client" promise than he does in your "Make $10k a month" promise.

So focus on A to B.

Also...
It's a lot easier to breakdown the process of going from A to B than the one of going from A to Z.

There's a lot less stuff involved in A to B than there is in A to Z.

A more simplistic process increases the odds of your customers actually getting results.
And this should be your number one goal.

Your customers actually getting results is the most important metric.
So create a simple outline, document everything through your process, create a step-by-step process to get your customer from A to B and your product won't be refunded cuz it's too complicated, your customer gets overwhelmed and doesn't get results.

Remember, less is more.
Alright, now let's talk about the marketing side of it.

It's all about positioning and a great offer.

Copy is cool and important.

But good positioning and a great offer are where the real money's at.
So how do you position your product to be successful?

You use this formula (shoutout Evaldo Albuquerque)

Applied to our binge eating example...
This new opportunity (the method you teach inside your product) is the key to their desire (stop binge eating) and can only be attained through this new mechanism (your product).

The goal is to find a unique angle.

Novelty is king.

If you follow this, copy writes itself.
And then you just launch.

And if you do it this way...

Your customers will be happy because they'll get results.

You'll be happy because you'll get paid.

And the market improves cuz you provided quality

Everybody Wins.
I'm not going over launch strategies.

But if you want to build a great product and market it correctly, I just gave you everything you need.

Then all you need to do is get it in front of the right audience and you make $$$.
Major takeaways:

- Remove all woo woo crap and concepts. (specific quantifiable results, don't be scammy guru)
- Make it simple.
- Solve one thing.
- Promise one thing.
- Build upon one idea.
- Focus on results deliverability.
- Make people believe it's new and unique.
And remember...

Stay ba$ed.
