You called this province the "promised land" but failed to mention how it's also stolen land. https://twitter.com/kayceemaduyeg/status/1332161247337320449
You went on about Nigerian colonization, recognizing a deficiency in just outcomes produced by institutional underrepresentation, but you don't believe systemic racism exists here. Funny.
You go on and on about how Alberta's success is because you believe this province is a meritocracy, instead of hitting the jackpot by coincidentally sitting on top of a massive deposit of black gold.
You actually implied hard work and treating others the way you want to be treated is a solution for poor minorities to get ahead. A smile and a positive attitude is not the solution to systemic racism & devastating inequality brought on by capitalism. Government intervention is.
That entire talk you did not once mention what was actually in the amendment you oppose. You just forcefully made an opinion and didn't provide any evidence to back it up. Is that how lawyers (especially Queen's Counsel appointees) should argue a position?

Here it is:
I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to be trying to recognize the gender disparity with QC appointees and calls into question some nepotism that you benefited from with your fancy new designation.
I don't think it's playing politics to level the playing field with this designation, or at the very least recognize the gender gap that exists.
Playing politics would be grandstanding about a topic, garnering sympathy with a long-winding story and then sharing a video of your performative verbal diarrhea on social media.
. @MLAIrfanSabir seems to have brought up a great point of discussion and it's shameful that you went on for more than 15 mins and adding nothing constructive to the conversation.
Pay women the same.

Treat women the same.

Recognize where problems exist & bring up solutions to tackle them.

Doing this is not "playing politics" it's called doing your damn job in 2020.

Do your job, Kaycee.
