Redfield even ignores published meta-analyses of Randomized Control Trials featured on the CDC website such as Xiao et al (2020: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/19-0994_article), who found that face masks & hand washing had no "substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza".
