Unhealed trauma will create issues in your mind that don't exist...especially if you've been hurt over and over. Remind yourself to stop looking for things that aren't there.

You distinguish the way trauma feels and reality feels. Trauma feels like knots anxiety, fear. Knowing how to trust your intuition and understand when harm is near or when it's just in your head because of wounds that never healed.
One of my trauma responses was not allowing anyone to help me or be too nice without feeling they wanted something in return. Again, reacting off of my unhealed trauma.
Staying present is the key while still working on things that trigger you and cause you to think you're being attacked in the present by a past situation that no longer exist.
All because you feel strongly about a situation doesnt mean that's the reality of it.
Fear also plays a huge part in this because we're so afraid to experience  anymore pain we avoid ppl and isolate ourselves. This is another response to trauma. But remember, this experience only shows up because we're still learning from it.
Staying present is healing & life energy, living in the past is full of pain & regret. The lower & higher self coexist..your lower self is your past life of unhealed trauma, your higher self is your present, new life energy. This is why staying present is how we continue to heal
You don't have to find your highest self, you just have to remember it exists.
Your highest self is your creative energy, your evolution, your healing ..it's full of love, life, growth and endless possibilities
