Today, I start another decade of life. The 20s were some of my greatest years, and I can't wait for the adventures that will follow.
Here's are the highlights from my 20s (1/x)
Here's are the highlights from my 20s (1/x)
When I was 20, I was promoting smoking cessation initiatives locally and federally, figuring out university, and spent a week learning and working with the Choctaw Nation in Alabama.
I had a tiny bit more hair on my head.

When I was 21, I acted in my first play, choreograph-danced for a show, started my printing business, and started my first "career" job.
I was an adrenaline junkie and dangled off the @TourCNTower.

Just before I turned 22, I saw the result of the last year of hard work, when we produced the largest TEDx University event in Canada by transforming the historical Maple Leaf Gardens into a conference theatre. Still one of my proudest accomplishments.
When I was 22, I went onto build my event production business, tried hard to surround myself with great people, adventur-ing some more, and by travelling to see my first out-of-city concert!
I reconnected with my roots and with my childhood friends.

When I was 23, after some of the best years of my life, I graduated from university. I spent that summer building my business to sustainable levels, road-tripping extensively (once with two dozen of my friends!), and simply taking it all in.
When I was 24, I packed up my stuff and moved to Ottawa to begin my career as a public servant. I watched my first World Cup soccer game, and also began my love for solo traveling.
My first destination was Philadelphia, the city where I would eventually find my now-wife.

When I was 25, I danced some more choreographed dances, worked hard, and played hard.
I traveled to weddings, reunions, and most notably - to meet my now-wife in-person for the first time at an outdoor concert in Washington DC!
Unrelated, I shot my favourite photo that year.

When I was 26, I mostly spent the year getting to be a tourist in the neighbourhoods and cities I called home.
Just before I turned 26, I also visited India - the country I was born in - and had the rare privilege to explore parts of my homeland I'd only seen on TV.

When I was 27, I really tried to figure out my career, sought out excellent (!!!) mentors, and worked to make more impact in my own job and across the organization
Also, I said goodbye to Ottawa and moved to the UK for my MBA.

The day I turned 28, I literally spent the *WHOLE* day writing an exam for my MBA, thanks to @Rainbow_Battarr and @fotpetr. No pictures here, only haunted memories.
The rest of 28 was good though. I connected with even more childhood friends, travelled to world-class countries I never thought I would have the opportunity to see, ate some amazing European food, reunited with cousins, and explored Great Britain in great depth.
When I turned 29, I proposed to my girl @staceyDPT and got married. I graduated from my MBA, switched jobs, moved cities twice, and moved my wife to Canada after years of being long-distance.
One of the greatest blessings of this past year, though, was getting to be home and spend six months with my parents - the most amount of time I'd spent with them in almost a decade.
I have so many more blessings, and I can't wait to see what the 30s bring me.
